What happens when the AI doesn't know the answer?

The AI is trained to recognise its own limits. When a guest asks something it isn't confident about — an unusual complaint, a refund request, a genuine emergency — it flags the conversation and escalates to our team immediately. A human picks it up within minutes. The guest never gets a confused or fabricated answer, and nothing silently falls through the cracks.

Is my guest data safe? Are you GDPR compliant?

Yes. We are a UK-based company and fully compliant with UK GDPR and EU GDPR.

  • Every client signs a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) before we onboard them
  • Guest data is stored on secure infrastructure within the UK and EU where possible
  • Our sub-processors are listed in the DPA, with Standard Contractual Clauses in place for any international transfers
  • Right-to-erasure requests are honoured within 30 days
  • Data retention is configurable — typically 24 months after a stay, or sooner on request

Is my AI trained on my data? Do you share it with other clients?

No. Every client gets their own dedicated AI configuration, trained only on their own properties. Guest conversations are not used to train the underlying AI model, and nothing from your portfolio ever informs another client's system.

What's the contract length? Can I cancel?

No lock-ins. Billing is monthly in advance and you can cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice — your service runs until the end of the paid month and then stops. We don't charge cancellation fees or require minimum commitments. The whole point is you should stay because it works, not because you're contractually stuck.

How long does setup take?

Most portfolios go live within 7–14 days. We connect your channels, gather your property information, build the AI, and run it in a supervised mode for the first few days before going fully autonomous. Larger enterprise portfolios can take up to 3 weeks.

Who owns the guest data and conversations?

You do. All guest data, conversation transcripts, and performance metrics belong to you and can be exported at any time. If you ever leave us, you take your data with you.

What happens if your service has an outage?

Our infrastructure is built for high availability. In the rare event of an outage, our team receives automatic alerts and our escalation protocol kicks in — a human team covers incoming guest messages while systems recover, so your guests never experience a silent dropout.

Does the AI actually sound like a human, or does it feel robotic?

Judge for yourself — that's what the demo is for. We train the AI on your tone of voice, your property's personality, and the phrases you already use. Guests regularly have full conversations without realising they're talking to an AI. When it genuinely matters — emergencies, complaints, disputes — the conversation is handed off to a real person, not a script.

What happens with complex issues like refunds, complaints, or emergencies?

These always escalate to a human. The AI is designed to triage, not to make judgement calls on money or safety. You set the escalation rules during onboarding — whether that means routing to your team, our team, or both. For emergencies (safety, medical, security) the AI also provides the guest with immediate instructions while we're being notified.

Can I take over a conversation myself at any time?

Yes. You have full access to the dashboard, can read every conversation in real time, and can take over a thread with a single click. The AI steps back the moment you start typing.

What if my properties are in a niche or rural location the AI doesn't know about?

It won't be a problem — the AI doesn't rely on its general world knowledge for local recommendations. During onboarding we build a knowledge base specific to each of your properties: the nearest shops, restaurants, taxi services, emergency contacts, local attractions, and whatever else your guests typically ask about. The AI only draws from what you've told us, so it can't make things up about places it doesn't know. If a guest asks something that's not in the knowledge base, the AI says so honestly and flags it for us to add.

What happens if the AI gets something wrong?

Two safety nets. First, every response is scored internally before sending — if the AI's confidence is low, it escalates to a human rather than guessing. Second, our team monitors conversations daily, and you can flag any response you don't like. We'll retrain the AI on that specific scenario so it never happens again. In the rare case of a guest complaint tied to a wrong reply, we investigate with you and make it right — that's what the managed service means.

Do I keep my existing guest message history when I switch over to you?

Yes. When we connect your Airbnb, Booking.com and other channels, all your existing conversations come with them — nothing gets lost or reset.
